Two passenger trains have been canceled and 7 passenger trains have been diverted due to the derailment of a goods train at Tanakuppa station between Koderma-Gaya section of Dhanbad Railway Division, a few hours before sunrise on Tuesday, around 3.15 am. The goods train was going from Dhanbad to Deendayal Upadhyay station (Mughalsarai) via Gaya. According to Virendra Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, the operation of trains on this line has been disrupted due to derailment of 03 wagons of goods train at point number 51/AB up line in the rail route. Accident relief vehicles have reached Gomoh and Gaya.
